After leaving Stanley Park, we crossed the bay and headed up through North Vancouver to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park.

The first picture is part of the display of the history of the Park. Two of the Totem Poles on display (they also had carvers there who gave demonstrations), A  couple of shots of the bridge from the bank and one from the bridge, looking down.

Looking up at the trees (they were big!) on the far side of the bridge (it does swing). one of the many signs explaining the flora and fauna to be seen, a shot of the bridge from the far bank, 2 more Totem Poles and the "Mascot" at the souvenir shop.

Also at the Capilano Park.

Our next stop was at the Cable Car to the top of Grouse Mountain . We took the car up to the top and had lunch at a restaurant looking there.  Renata stayed at the restaurant are while I took a walk farther up to try to catch a glimpse of some orphaned bears, but they were hiding back in some brush and couldn't really be seen.  Along the way I took pictures of some large! chainsaw carvings that were standing along the paths.

Renata took these shots of the cable car and the carving on the pillars inside the visitors center.  Finally a shot of Mt. Baker off in the distance.
